RGV LEAD, through the efforts of fundraisers provided by the RGV LEAD board members, was proud to announce the expansion of the scholarship funds to one $5,000 scholarship and four $1,000 scholarships. The goal is to increase scholarship funds in 2023 to allow more students to benefit from scholarships for their educational careers. January 2021 | Vol.3, Iss. 5 RGV LEAD Scholarship Increases Monetary Awards  There’s great news in the Rio Grande Valley! Thanks in part to the Shooting for Success skeet shoot and through the generous contributions of RGV LEAD partners, the traditional $5,000 RGV LEAD scholarship will continue to be awarded to one student. It will be paid out over two years. Additionally, four RGV LEAD scholar-ships of $1,000 each will be awarded to four recipients and will be paid out in one payment. READ MORE >

He was selected from a field of almost 100 applicants.
