Meet Dr. Albert Byrom, San Perlita ISD Superintendent. Dr. Byrom was born and raised in San Antonio. While living in San Antonio, he was a dedicated police officer for 10 years, but being an educator was always on his mind. Hence, he pursued a Bachelor’ of Science from Texas A&M Kingsville. As an educator, he taught World History and was a football and track coach.

Determined to further his education, Dr. Byrom received a Master’s Degree from Lamar University. He returned to his alma mater at Texas A&M Kingsville to earn his Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Administration.

I have been married for 22 years to my wife, Lidia. We have 3 boys and 3 girls who are all on their own. We also have 5 grandchildren. I am the Superintendent of a wonderful School district, San Perlita ISD. I have been in education for 18 years! I am very fortunate to have been allowed to serve such an amazing community.
