RGV LEAD developed this unique framework of critical skills and competencies after consultation with colleagues, students, and employers.
The RGV LEAD Student Ambassador Program presents the skills and behaviors that students are encouraged and prompted to develop in various ways.
Ambassadors
Student Ambassadors are usually seen as equals. They can effectively influence student emotional drivers such as belonging, challenge, diversity, responsibility, and achievement.
Ambassadors
The peer-to-peer perspective is a social process among students. Communication and collaboration among peers give students the confidence to work in multi-disciplinary settings, so that they are able to cross-communicate with teams and excel in work that might be outside their direct knowledge base.
The RGV LEAD Ambassador Program cultivates the peer-to-peer perspective through student participation in and beyond the classroom.
RGV LEAD Community Partners provide greater reach, awareness, resources and sustainability.
