RGV LEAD Hosts Young Entrepreneurs of the RGV Challenge Workshop

On your mark! Get set! GO!

Educators from across the Rio Grande Valley came together on January 21st for the Young Entrepreneurs of the RGV Challenge kick-off! The annual event is sponsored by Ameriprise Financial, BBVA, Magic Valley Electric Cooperative, RGV Partnership Foundation, Texas Gas Service, UTRGV Center for In-novation and Commercialization, and RGV LEAD. Students, grades 9th-12th, are undertaking the challenge to develop a business idea utilizing their Career and Technology skill sets. Young entrepreneurs can compete in teams or as individuals. A cash prize is awarded to the winners, but more importantly, students gain insight into developing their own company.

Here’s wishing our future entrepreneurs the best of luck in the Young Entrepreneurs of the RGV Challenge! For more information, contact Eliza Groff at egroff@rgvlead.org.
