Providing Technical Education to Texans

Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is the sole technical college in Texas with support from the state that operates across multiple campuses. Their collaboration with businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions is aimed at assisting Texas in addressing the high-tech demands of the current global economy.

Developing the Highest Quality Workforce

Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is leading the way in improving the competitiveness of Texas businesses and industries by strengthening the state's capacity to develop a high-caliber workforce.

By closely working with businesses, industries, government agencies, and communities, both public and private secondary and post-secondary educational institutions, the TSTC System enables and provides a coordinated and adaptable technical education system. The main focus is on meeting the industrial and technological workforce requirements of the state by creating and providing specialized technical programs along with supportive coursework. Each campus within the Texas State Technical College System prioritizes advanced or upcoming technical programs that are typically not available at public junior colleges.

A Strong Texas

TSTC holds the belief that every individual should have access to educational opportunities in order to acquire the essential skills for engaging in valuable work. This, in turn, enables them to pursue their aspirations as conscientious members of society who contribute to the well-being and prosperity of their families, communities, state, nation, and the world.

RGV LEAD appreciates the support from TSTC.
