is Guest Speaker

David Leal is a Director at Bank of America Securities in the bank’s
Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) Corporate Banking practice.

David Leal, the guest speaker for the RGV LEAD Regional Conference, grew up in the Rio Grande Valley and is a native of McAllen, Texas. David was the recipient of RGV LEAD’s first-ever scholarship (formerly known as the Dr. Lauro Cavazos Tech Prep Scholarship).

“Receiving the Dr. Lauro Cavazos scholarship from RGV LEAD after high school not only provided a significant financial benefit but also allowed me to gain a network of extremely talented entrepreneurs, educators, and policymakers throughout the Rio Grande Valley and Texas. This has allowed me to stay connected to the Valley business and education communities even when I was living and working out of state.”

David shared his success story and inspired participants to be advocates for our generation of students.
