Career and Technical Association of Texas Member Award

Vol.2, Iss. 9 | May 2021

Each year, the Career & Technical Association of Texas (CTAT) grants various awards to each of the twelve CTAT areas across the state, recognizing individuals or entities from the education or business/industry community who enhance the established Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. These awards acknowledge individual’s contributions to the improvement, promotion, development, and progress of CTE, thereby positively impacting the image of the CTE programs.

The local South Texas CTAT Area 9 organization receives a Community Partner Excellence Award annually. Sharyland ISD was the sweepstakes winner:

  • The CTAT Champion for CTE Award went to Zar Castillo, Advertising and Production Business Owner of BRNDhub.
  • ST-CTAT Community Partner Excellence was awarded to Haziel Lopez, SISD mentor, and the 2020-2021 school year.
