2021 – 2022: A Return to Normalcy

Here we are at the end of another school year! We find ourselves asking, “Where did the time go?”

The past months saw students and faculty participating in or enjoying sports like football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and many other activities. The months were also filled with University Interscholastic League and Career & Technical Student Organization competitions. Students also participated in various dual enrollment, end-of-course, and CTE certifications tests. The one big takeaway from the 2021-2022 school year is that students were privileged to experience all the active-2021 – 2022: A Return to Normalcy ties in person! There was a sense of normalcy.

The face-to-face experience was especially critical for the graduating senior class. These future leaders will head off to post-secondary institutions in the coming months and be prepared to sit through many university lectures. They won’t have to adjust to in-class instructions as the class of 2021 did. That is a blessing!

We are incredibly thankful that the LEAD Regional Ambassadors could apply their leadership skills in person during the 2021-2022school year. We are featuring some of these future leaders in this month’s RGV Link as a tribute. If you would like your ambassadors highlighted next month, send pictures to Eliza Groff.

To the Senior Class of 2022, RGV LEAD applauds you on a job well done!

RGV LEAD Executive Director
